Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of Portplate. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination without notice. This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited content

You may not create, upload, share, or sell content that:

  • Infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights you do not own or have a license to use.
  • Sexually depicts or exploits minors in any form.
  • Promotes terrorism, mass violence, or organized criminal activity.
  • Harasses, threatens, doxxes, or incites violence against any person or group.
  • Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
  • Is fraudulent — counterfeit goods, fake credentials, phishing pages, scam “official” templates impersonating banks/governments.
  • Violates SEA-region content laws — including lèse-majesté (Thailand), religious harmony (Malaysia/Indonesia), or other content offenses in the buyer’s jurisdiction.

2. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Buy, sell, or trade Portplate accounts.
  • Use Portplate to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or malware.
  • Bypass rate limits, scrape at scale, or attempt to access non-public data.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source of paid features.
  • Operate bot networks, fake review rings, or automated checkout/claim flows.
  • Submit fraudulent DMCA notices, refund requests, or chargebacks.
  • Use AI features to generate content that violates clause 1 above.

3. Marketplace integrity

  • List only templates you own or have rights to resell.
  • Accurately describe what is included; do not bait-and-switch.
  • Do not manipulate ratings — no fake reviews, no review-trading rings, no incentivized reviews.
  • Honor the listed price and refund policy for paid templates.

4. Reporting violations

Report content that violates this AUP via the in-app report button on any template, or by emailing [email protected]. Copyright complaints have a separate process at /dmca.

5. Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend accounts, withhold payouts, and cooperate with law enforcement at our discretion. We are not obligated to provide advance notice for serious violations (clauses 1.b–1.d especially).
