Frequently asked questions
Why does it export as PNG?
Rounded corners create transparent areas at the corners. Only PNG supports transparency, so the output must be PNG. JPG doesn't support it.
Can I make a perfect circle?
Yes. Drag the radius all the way to 50% to get a perfect circle crop. For the best result, start with a square image.
Will the image background show through the corners?
The corners become fully transparent in the PNG output. When placed on a colored background, the corners will match it naturally.
Can I use this for social media profile photos?
Yes. Round your photo to a circle (radius 50%) and use it on LinkedIn, Facebook, or anywhere that displays circular profile pictures.
Is there a file size limit?
