Platform Fees
Portplate earns a small platform fee from each sale â so we only succeed when you do.
Free plan sellers: 25% platform fee per sale.
Pro plan sellers: 10% platform fee per sale.
Print plan sellers: 10% platform fee per sale.
All fees are deducted automatically before payout via Stripe. No surprise charges.
Refund Policy
Digital templates are non-refundable once the file has been downloaded or the design has been opened in the editor.
If you haven't accessed the file yet, contact the shop owner or our support team within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund.
For print orders: refunds are handled per the shop's stated return policy. Contact the seller first. If unresolved in 72 hours, escalate to Portplate support.
Portplate reserves the right to issue refunds in cases of fraud, duplicate charges, or technical errors.
Verified Sellers
Shops on Portplate are created by real designers who agree to our Seller Policy.
Shops with the 'Verified' badge have passed an identity check and have a history of successful, dispute-free sales.
New shops are visible to buyers but start without a badge â they earn it through positive reviews and clean transaction history.
Portplate moderates all submitted templates before they appear in the marketplace.
Buyer Protection
Every purchase is processed through Stripe â your payment information never touches our servers.
If you're charged but don't receive access to your template, contact us and we'll make it right.
We log all purchase transactions securely for 90+ days to comply with applicable laws.
Portplate does not sell or share your personal data with sellers beyond what's needed to fulfill your order.
Dispute Resolution
First step: contact the shop owner directly via the order page or their shop contact form.
If the issue isn't resolved within 72 hours, open a dispute at portplate.com/contact â select 'Dispute' as the topic.
Our team reviews disputes within 3 business days.
Final decisions on refunds and account actions rest with Portplate's Trust & Safety team.
Community Standards
Sellers may not upload templates they don't own the rights to.
Templates containing hate speech, adult content, or illegal materials are prohibited and will be removed.
Repeat policy violations result in account suspension or permanent removal.
