Can I change the font?
Currently the tool uses a clean system sans-serif font. Full font selection is available in the Portplate editor, which supports 500+ fonts including Thai, Japanese, and Arabic.
Can I add multiple lines of text?
Yes. Press Enter in the text field to add line breaks. Multiple lines will all appear in the chosen position.
Can I position the text anywhere?
You can choose top, center, or bottom alignment. For precise pixel-perfect positioning, use the full Portplate editor.
Will the text have a shadow or outline?
A subtle text shadow is applied automatically to improve legibility on both light and dark photos.
Can I use this to add a watermark?
Yes. Type your watermark text, set it small, choose a light color, and position it at the bottom. For a repeated pattern watermark, use the Portplate editor.
