1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this to identify your account and personalize your experience.
Design data: Designs you create, including canvas content, pages, and settings, are stored on our servers so you can access them across devices.
Usage data: We collect information on how you interact with the service (pages visited, features used, and actions taken) to improve Portplate.
Profile information: Information you voluntarily add to your public profile (display name, bio, social links, avatar, cover image).
Uploaded content: Images and files you upload to use in your designs are stored on our servers. Publicly shared designs are visible to other users.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Portplate service
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Send transactional notifications (template approved, new follower, comments) per your notification preferences
- Improve and develop new features based on usage patterns
- Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including Thailand’s PDPA
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
Public content: Designs you publish publicly are visible to all visitors. Your public profile, username, and published designs can be discovered by other users and search engines.
Service providers: We may share data with trusted service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery) who assist in operating our service, subject to confidentiality agreements.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.
Guest designs created without an account are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Soft-deleted designs (moved to trash) are permanently deleted after 30 days.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
You can configure cookie preferences in your browser settings, though disabling session cookies will prevent you from logging in.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights (PDPA / GDPR)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Children’s Privacy
Portplate is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
